About IMF NeuroRehab
History
- IMF was originally developed for strokes and brain injuries.
- In 2010, IMF was acquired by Mr. Ing. Reichenbächer and operated under the name "IMF Strategie."
Acquisition of "IMF Strategie" by Torsten Balkow – The Founding of "IMF NeuroRehab"
- In 2016, Torsten Balkow ( my story) suffered a spinal cord injury at the 7th cervical vertebra following an accident. Although a small portion of the nerves was preserved during surgery, the diagnosis was ASIA A, meaning no bodily functions below the injury.
- In 2021, Torsten Balkow met Bernhard Reichenbächer and began IMF therapy under physiotherapeutic supervision. Within just a few weeks, the first functional improvements were noticeable.
- Originally working as a secondary school teacher in Freilassing for 14 years, Torsten Balkow founded "IMF NeuroRehab" in 2024, bringing IMF therapy into the future.
